About Us
mark¹ (märk) n. 1. a lasting impression
lasting impressions was created in 1997 in
Burbank, California. After spending many years in the corporate business world, I
decided it was time to return to what I enjoy most: art and creative expression.
So
I left my (noncreative) job at Disney Studios and began life as an entrepreneur.
My first endeavor was to establish a mail-order catalog for the many note cards I had
designed over the years. Our mailing list has grown to over 5,000 customers and our
catalog has been published four times.
Recognizing the importance of the internet in reaching a mass market, lasting impressions went online in 1998.
Our
website has been viewed by countless browsers and brought customers from around the world.
The goal of lasting impressions is to provide an
outlet not only for my designs , but also the original quality artwork of other
independent artists. As you browse our website you will find artwork reproduced as
greeting cards through the mediums of pen & ink, watercolor, colored pencil and
photography. In addition, there are unique artistic gift ideas exclusive to
lasting impressions.
For those of you who live in the Los Angeles area, you may take advantage of lasting impressions creative art services.
These
services range from having a faux finish painted in a room of your home or business to a
large mural in a kid's room or on an exterior wall of your home. If you need help in
